New Delhi: Now that the final season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ has become the talk of the town, considering only handful number of months are left for it to go on air, there is something that makers had on their mind to surprise its fans. Can there be a bigger gift for the GOT fans to actually visit the location that we watched on our beloved show?
Yes, it is the dream come true soon as the GOT makers have decided now to open tourist attractions in Northern Ireland.
Preliminary details have been released by Tourism Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland and HBO, on the opening of “Game of Thrones Legacy,” which will turn few iconic shoot locations from the series into a tourist destination. Just imagine visiting Westeros!
Without revealing too many details, makers would be considering areas that were made into Winterfell, Castle Black, and King’s Landing. These places along with sites will also exhibit props like costumes, weapons, set decorations, art files, models and other production materials. Linen Mill Studios, where some of the scenes were shot is also being considered for the formal tour.
HBO promised that these attractions will be on a “scale and scope bigger than anything the public has ever seen.”
The first half of 2019 is set to be slated to air premiere of the final season and the tentative opening date for the tourist attraction is set for 2019.
